The filters are just the standard Honeywell replacements which you can purchase anywhere on the net, what distinguishes Plumbing Planet from the rest is the absolute BEST customer support I have experienced in a number of years.
My filters were shipped to Texas via UPS the box was damaged at the terminal station to the point of almost not being usable upon delivery.
I really needed the filters so I managed to get one of the two filters back to its original condition.
I was pretty upset and rather than contacting PP I left a negative review back to them.
I am a mechanical engineer and have an insane schedule due to summer school retrofits with barely enough time to sleep the last thing I wanted to do was call and argue about a replacement (been there done that).I decided to use my supplier and pay the extra dollars to receive non damaged merchandise.
The following day I received an email from Jerry at PP stating two new filters would be shipped as replacements at no cost which really surprised me.
He explained multiple filters shipped to Texas via UPS are always boxed individually (UPS uses Gorillas at the terminals) both of mine were shipped in a single box he apologized for the shipping error.
I just received the replacements in perfect condition as well as a follow up email from Jerry making sure the filters arrived undamaged.
You can buy the filters anywhere but you can't buy customer service described above. I will make all my future filter purchases with PP, the service went beyond what was expected.
